Chrome Tourmaline - Jeff White

Please note that the supply of good Chrome Tourmalines is very scarce at the moment. There has been virtually no production from the mines in Tanzania for the last six months
The colors of the Chrome Tourmaline range from the lighter, green colors to the deeper green. Being colored by Chrome, these stones will show up 'red' under the Chelsea Filter. These stones look superb when cut into ovals, cushions, octagons but only cut the lighter stones into brilliants.

Just a few of the larger Green Garnets have come in. Again, Tanzanian in origin, these larges stones have become very difficult to procure and are always in demand. Last year showed a marked decrease in the production of these rare stones. Unfortunately, the situation has not changed this year and we feel privileged to have some excellent stones on offer as well as a few over 5ct in size

Cutter - Barry Bridgestock
A lovely parcel of the Nigerian Spessartites has just arrived. These stones have been a great seller and I hope you have a good look at them. Not the same color as the Tanzanian, BUT they are superbly clean gems, and exhibit a really beautiful burnt-medium-light orange-yellow color with just a touch of red.
