Please note - If you are viewing the website using a laptop computer, (apart from the Apple laptop), the colors
portrayed are very poor. I have found this to be the norm after checking numerous lap tops. The older desktop
screens still seem to give the most accurate colors, so, when ordering, please read the descriptions of the stones.
It will help you somewhat with the colors and your decisions regarding purchase.

Fire Opal - cutter Steve Ewens

So now you all know about the Brazilian Fire Opals we have been offering for quite some time. Now we would like to introduce the new Tanzanian Opals which have also started to make an impact on the European market. The yellow colors are inclined to be darker and slightly more 'rich' in color than the Brazilian stones whilst the green gems are quite unusual. Neither of the yellow or green stones are quite as transparent as the Brazilian rough (the Tanzanian yellow colors are more transparent than the greens) but the material does cut very well, especially as cabs.

Note - Please remember our grading is as follows - A - 70% clean and above, AA - 80% clean and above, AAA - 90% clean and above
Measurements - to help you estimate the size of the stone, please note that the frame around each individual stone measures 20mm x 22mm
