Please note - If you are viewing the website using a laptop computer, (apart from the Apple laptop), the colors
portrayed are very poor. I have found this to be the norm after checking numerous lap tops. The older desktop
screens still seem to give the most accurate colors, so, when ordering, please read the descriptions of the stones.
It will help you somewhat with the colors and your decisions regarding purchase.

Citrine is always a popular stone with our customers and I guess this is because of the variety of different shades of yellow-red to deeper red colors one can find. The material is usually very inexpensive in price and the rough will always produce a faceted gem you can be proud of, even if you are cutting the very light shades of yellow.
And, yes, you can pay more for exactly the same grades we stock from some dealers, but, usually the prices paid are still well worth the material.

We have been in business since the early 1960's, and, due to very long-standing friendships, we purchase our Citrine directly through one of the largest buyers in Brazil and Uruguay. Of course, we get the chance to hand-select all our rough at no additional cost, one of the reasons we can keep our prices at a reasonable cost to you.

Citrine is often found in the natural yellow color (usually a yellow-brown color) but, heating some Amethyst at a low temperature , will turn them into a stunning yellow gem. All our Citrines have been heat-treated and various colors are shown.

Note - Please remember our grading is as follows - A - 70% clean and above, AA - 80% clean and above, AAA - 90% clean and above.
Measurements - to help you estimate the size of the stone, please note that the frame around each individual stone measures 20mm x 22mm
